The Levee is turning 5 years old in April! What a ride it’s been. It’s also my (Gene Browne’s) Birthday @ Midnight!! So .. I’m killing a bunch of birds with one stone here and doing a bit of a birthday show - an early show for Physical Graffiti (8:30pm Start) - and celebrating a wonderful 5 years with some great friends and fans of some of the music that had some pretty big inspiration in the bar. Hope to see you out :)

9 O’Clock Rocks has another great lineup this month. So if you’re tired of the late night scene come on out and enjoy some great music at a totally reasonable hour and then stick around later for the afterparty if you feel like being unreasonable.

"Heavy petting, dogs barking, french kissing, mother’s bra - Psychologists have proven that a man can only be as good as his downfalls. Scientists have proven that when two different colours have been combined, it makes kool-aid. And, Scott Humphries has proven that cum works for everything! Yet again, a birthday for ME has come upon us. This year, I would desire some music, local folk, hand holding and a gentle tease. “ - Scotty

This year’s Battle of The Band’s were fantastic. Thanks to all the talented bands who performed. In a surprise twist we were left with one grand prize winner and a tie for second place. And the fact that a solo artist made it to the finals is nothing short of remarkable.

Left to Right: Geoff (Elk & The Elderly), Adam (The Undesirables), and Steve Vincent (Solo Artist)

This is our first show of 2014 so we want to make this one really special.

First of all, Bridges and Make Mean Everything are sharing the bill.

Secondly, we have enlisted our super talented friend, Nick Coultas-Clarke (Repartee, Catcher), to join us as a guest drummer. This will the first time Georgie & JoMo have performed live with a drummer. To say we are beyond excited would be an understatement.

Last but certainly not the least, all this is going down at our favorite venue,The Levee
